About SEESHA
SEESHA was founded by Dr. Paul Dhinakaran in 2003 as the humanitarian arm of his mission. Headquartered in Chennai, SEESHA operates across 15 states in India and has touched more than 3.5 million lives.
The organisation works in 42 of the poorest communities in remote tribal, rural, and urban slum areas, providing holistic support through child development, women empowerment, healthcare, disaster relief, and care for the differently-abled and elderly.

Impact Areas
Child development centres, school kits, scholarships, career guidance, and skill development programmes nurturing the next generation.
Vocational training, tailoring centres, self-help groups, entrepreneurial development, and livelihood support for women across communities.
Medical outreach, mobile clinics, dental care, physical therapy, and community health programmes reaching the most remote areas.
Cyclone relief, flood response, home reconstruction, and livelihood restoration — always among the first responders when disaster strikes.
Rehabilitation centres, special education, assistive device distribution, and special sports meets celebrating ability over disability.
Old age care home, village outreach, and integrated village programmes providing dignity and care in the golden years.
Special Programmes
Beyond its core programmes, SEESHA extends compassion to transgender communities, prison inmates, and children living with HIV — demonstrating the breadth of the organisation's commitment to serving every human being with dignity and love.
